
Ghatasthapana, also known as Kalash Sthapana, marks the inauguration of Navratri Puja. This ritual involves invoking Goddess Shakti and placing the ghat (vase) at an auspicious time, or "shubh muhurat," as timing is crucial to avoid ill omens. Ghatasthapana should never be performed on Amavasya (new moon day) or during nighttime.

Rudr abhishek is a very important ritual in which the Panchamarit Pooja is offered to Lord Shiva. This pooja is performed by experienced priests and they recite very powerful mantras. These mantras bring good luck and fulfill all the desires of the person who performs the pooja.

Sri Rudram’ is a Vedic hymn written as a prayer to Rudra, a form of Archetype Shiva, to transform from his fierce form to peaceful form and shower us with his blessings. This prayer has two parts with each divided into eleven sections. The first part has verses ending with the term “Nama” and hence this part is named ‘Namakam’ or ‘Rudram’.
